Job description:
\n\u2022 Perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities
\n\u2022 Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis
\n\u2022 Ensure data integrity of various morphology\/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration
\n\u2022 Carry out area and site surveys to identify RF equipment location and antenna orientation
\n\u2022 Understand equipment co-location requirements for multiple operators
\n\u2022 Perform inter-modulation analysis
\n\u2022 Perform site candidate evaluation
\n\u2022 Verify RF related site engineering drawings
\n\u2022 Perform co-channel and adjacent channel interference testing and analysis
\n\u2022 Perform radio network design and optimization for high capacity wireless networks using GSM and UMTS technologies.
\n\u2022 Lead resource for routine monitoring and review of Radio Network Related Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
\n\u2022 Support the RF teams regarding GSM\/GPRS\/UMTS optimization, parameter setting and performance issues.
\n\u2022 Interface with other regional functional teams such as: RF planning, RAN engineering, In-building, and UMTS Design group.
\n\u2022 Perform New network Design for Green Field Operator and Network Expansion activities aligned with Presales team.
\n\u2022 Competence\/Knowledge Transfer and lead by Example<\/p>\n
Job requirement:
\n\u2022 University degree or technical college qualifications in telecommunications, electronic engineering, computer science or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of the cellular system concept and Ericsson products (preferable have 3+ years experience in GSM\/CDMA\/WCDMA cellular system).
\n\u2022 Detail knowledge of network performance techniques, especially in relation to cellular networks.
\n\u2022 Independent, self-motivated, and well organised with an analytical mind.
\n\u2022 Co-operative, open to continuous change and varying degrees of responsibility.
\n\u2022 Excellent Team Player
\n\u2022 Good GSM\/CDMA\/UMTS Technology Basic Module (UMTS is preferable)
\n\u2022 Good Radio Compulsory Module<\/p>\n
