Job Description
1. Planning, supervision and management of purchasing activities
– Establish plans of purchasing products for the retail chain.
– Supervise and manage the purchasing in accordance with the approved plan, quality and budget.
– Develop and manage the procurement policy and procedures
– Set up and manage assessment criteria and selection of domestic and foreign suppliers in order to ensure choosing the right suppliers as required by the Company.
– Develop and manage terms, conditions and requirements defined in contracts for each of supplier category.
2. Communication and negotiation with suppliers
– Communicate and negotiate with domestic and foreign suppliers in terms of commercial terms and conditions to achieve the best benefits
– Negotiate prices, payment and delivery terms and conditions to optimise the Company’s benefits.
3. Development of suppliers
– Analyze and evaluate suppliers’ abilities annually to optimise the list of suppliers
– Maintain the stead-fast relationship with current suppliers and frequently develop new potential suppliers.
4. Training and collaboration
– Create training programs and plans to enhance employees’ effectiveness
– Assess the perfomance of purchasing employees (KPIs) (monthly and annually)
– Stabilise human resource of the Department; build up the team’s morale and collaboration at work.
5. Direct Reporting Lines: to Deputy General Director

Job requirement
1. Degree: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, commerce, foreign trade, business administration or related fields.
2. Knowledge:
– General knowledge in purchasing and supply chain.
– Deep knowledge in purchasing at retail chain, supermarket.
3. Experience:
– Prior managerial experience at retail chain.
– Minimum 05 year managerial experience at the Purchasing Director/Manager position or equivalent position.
4. Qualities
– Honest, hard-working, self-disciplined.
– High responsibility

– Good use of English language (required)
– Comunication and presentation skills
– Good at making analysis and reports
– Strong computer skills.
