ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, financial reporting, general ledger accountability and analysis of all kinds\u2019 e.g. financial profitability analysis, cost analysis etc. Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions. <\/p>\n
\u2022\tFraming of Standard Operating Policies (SOP\u2019s) for Finance & Controlling Department and ensuring that all the policies are being adhered to at all times.
\n\u2022\tPrepare and implement business processes and procedures, methods, information & systems as well as strategies and action plans in order to improve the business performance and company profitability.
\n\u2022\tAssist executive management to analyze financial and operational information, identifying strengths\/weaknesses and recommending improvements in methods and processes.
\n\u2022\tProduct costing
\n\u2022\tInventory review and valuation for Financial reporting
\n\u2022\tAP oversight (post invoice, review payment plan, deal with dossier issue)
\n\u2022\tMaintains general ledger, preparation of trial balance, reconciling all general ledgers.
\n\u2022\tAble to manage tax issues and suggest tax saving opportunity, deal with tax authority in previous organization will be added advantage
\n\u2022\tMaintains inter-company accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies
\n\u2022\tReviewing journal entries of Accountants to ensure accuracy in accounting
\n\u2022\tDocumenting and monitoring internal controls
\n\u2022\tPreparing account reconciliations
\n\u2022\tSummarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
\n\u2022\tManaging external\/ internal audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing necessary information to auditors.
\n\u2022\tAssisting in Tax Audits
\n\u2022\tReview Bank statements and preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statement on every month end.
\n\u2022\tSecures financial information by completing database backups.
\n\u2022\tProtects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
\n\u2022\tCoordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
