JOB PURPOSE :
\nRF Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design; implementation and enhancement of
\nwireless telecommunications networks.
\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES :
\nThe general tasks include:
\n\uf0b7 Perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities
\n\uf0b7 Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis
\n\uf0b7 Ensure data integrity of various morphology\/topography databases and drive test
\ndata for model calibration
\n\uf0b7 Carry out area and site surveys to identify RF equipment location and antenna
\norientation
\n\uf0b7 Understand equipment co-location requirements for multiple operators
\n\uf0b7 Perform inter-modulation analysis
\n\uf0b7 Perform site candidate evaluation
\n\uf0b7 Verify RF related site engineering drawings
\n\uf0b7 Perform co-channel and adjacent channel interference testing and analysis
\n\uf0b7 Perform radio network design and optimization for high capacity wireless
\nnetworks using GSM and UMTS technologies.
\n\uf0b7 Lead resource for routine monitoring and review of Radio Network Related Key
\nPerformance Indicators (KPI).
\n\uf0b7 Support the RF teams regarding GSM\/GPRS\/UMTS optimization, parameter
\nsetting and performance issues.
\n\uf0b7 Interface with other regional functional teams such as: RF planning, RAN
\nengineering, In-building, and UMTS Design group.
\n\uf0b7 Perform New network Design for Green Field Operator and Network Expansion
\nactivities aligned with Presales team.
\n\uf0b7 Competence\/Knowledge Transfer and lead by Example.
\nWORKING RELATIONSHIPS :
\n\uf0b7 The RF Engineer shall support the Technical Project managers\/Senior RF
\nEngineer at the units for New Accounts and Key Accounts during delivery
