Legal risk
\n\u2022\tReview and provide legal advice on tender documents.
\n\u2022\tReview ongoing cases and advice management accordingly.
\n\u2022\tLiaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
\n\u2022\tProvide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management.
\n\u2022\tProvide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff. <\/p>\n
Policy development
\n\u2022\tReview and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
\n\u2022\tReview and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements. <\/p>\n
Litigation management
\n\u2022\tReview progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers.
\nRegulatory compliance
\n\u2022\tFormulate compliance check-lists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information required is provided accordingly.
\n\u2022\tContinuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly.
\n\u2022\tPrepare monthly and quarterly reports for the department for executive management meetings. <\/p>\n
Contract negotiation
\n\u2022\tReview all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management\u2019s attention.
\n\u2022\tPrepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities.
\n\u2022\tNegotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions and prepare and advise on the necessary checklist to be adopted to ensure information is submitted on time. <\/p>\n
SKILLS:
\n\u2022\tStrong leadership and managerial skills.
\n\u2022\tGood planning and organization skills.
\n\u2022\tProven ability to delicately solve sensitive matters.
\n\u2022\tFluent in verbal and written Vietnamese and English (required).
\n\u2022\tAbility to provide independent advice (orally and in writing) to senior level management on highly technical matters.
\n\u2022\tIndependent judgment\/decision making\/problem solving skills.
\n\u2022\tStrong ability to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines
\n\u2022\tDemonstrate success in managing and conducting a variety of litigation matters.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATION:
\n\u2022\tCollege or University Graduation in Law Major.
\n\u2022\tLawyer Certificate (Legal Practicing Certificate) of one Bar Association.
\n\u2022\tAt least 2 years experience in law-firm or corporate.
\n\u2022\tStrong knowledge of Vietnam Law and Enterprise Law.
