Responsibilities:
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n– Developing, monitoring and supporting our software infrastructure
\n– Developing software systems in Python (and Java or Scala if you have a background)
\n– Integrating best-of-breed tools and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper, Mesos, Docker, Elasticsearch
\n– Assembling platforms and frameworks to automate business processes
\n– Collaborating with internal technology, research and portfolio management teams<\/p>\n
Requirements:
\nOur ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, great interpersonal skills, and familiarity with systems administration and\/or integration. In addition, the candidate will have:
\n– A bachelor\u2019s degree in a technical or quantitative field
\n– 3-5 years of experience in software development
\n– Solid programming skills in Python and Java (GO a great plus)
\n– Familiarity with existing open-source software packages and the DevOps toolchain
\n– Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
\n– A great support attitude (our job is to make life easier for other teams!)
\n– Be an analytical thinker with exceptional problem solving skills
