HSEQ Manager

The HSE Manager will responsible for:
Works closely with the plant’s operations to determine areas in need of improvement, and successfully works with energy center staff to complete improvement projects. Determines safety, performance and reliability projects required to attain the plant’s goals.
Main duties:
• Establish, maintain and propose safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control procedures, regulations, standards, plans HSE and fire control in the factory.
• Set up firefighting systems, inspect firefighting facilities, firefighting drills within the plant in accordance with the law.
• Coordinate with Team leader of Departments and the factory’s client to establish safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control management system.
• Make funding plan for annual safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control activities.
• Perform, promote safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control by safety means as panel and posters and reward encouraging safe.
• Organize training for all employees to be aware of the harm and the risk factors in the production process to prevent accidents and occupation disease.
• Report directly to the factory’s leaders on all safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control issues, incident or accident happens on the site. Record all documents, matters related to the plant.
• Develop and make training plan for employees, including subcontractors following to laws.
• Identify and advise the departments about safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control problems following to legal requirements.
• Organize meetings of safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control and establish site safety board including subcontractors.
• Develop, maintain and improve the safety, health, occupation, environment management system according to international standards.
• Represent factory for statistics, report, preliminary and final review of safety, health, occupation, environment and fire control and working with the concerned authorities.
Qualification:
– Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
– Having experience in establishing and maintaining quality systems of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001 is preferable.
– Sound knowledge of current HSE issues, methodologies and practices
– Skills:
Possess a strong knowledge on industrial hygiene regulations in Vietnam and HSE processes including HIRA, Root Cause Analysis, Lock Out Tag Out, PPE Assessments, Behavior Based Safety, Ergonomics, Design Safety Reviews, Permit to work, Contractor safety management etc.
• Understanding of the interpretation and application of OSHAS 18000/ISO 9001/ 14001
• Ability to review and interpret and apply, HSE legislation, standards and regulatory guidance material
• Ability to analyze data, problem solve, identify root cause and develop solutions
• Strong written and communication skills in English & Vietnamese
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
