Hydraulic Design Engineer
NIC’s client is an engineering company specializing in the design and manufacturing of offshore equipment.
They utilize professional vendor products for hydraulic and electrical systems applied to their equipment. Their engineering team is responsible for designing and integrating specifications for cylinders, cranes, hydraulic units, and electrical systems according to each project’s requirements.
Their work goes beyond simple purchasing and installation. Engineers are expected to define detailed technical specifications tailored to the equipment characteristics and fully understand the functions and limitations of vendor products. This includes customization, technical review, testing, troubleshooting, and on-site problem solving.
As hydraulic and electrical system issues may frequently occur during operation and installation, they are looking for practical engineers who are capable of independently analyzing and resolving real-world technical problems rather than relying solely on vendors.
• Design hydraulic and electrical systems (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Review equipment specifications and perform engineering for each project
• Conduct technical review of hydraulic cylinders, cranes, and electrical systems
• Coordinate with vendors and discuss detailed technical specifications
• Support equipment testing and troubleshooting
• Manage project schedules and technical coordination
• Collaborate with multinational engineers

• Experience in hydraulic and electrical system design and engineering
• Ability to lead and manage engineering projects
• Experience in technical coordination and specification discussions with vendors/subcontractors
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field environments
• Experience with hydraulic cylinders, cranes, or industrial equipment is highly preferred
(Offshore/marine experience is not required; land plant/factory facility experience is also highly valued)
• Candidates with both hydraulic and electrical expertise are preferred
• Willingness to travel for business trips
• English communication skills preferred
Benefit
– Basic salary: 21,000,000 – 28,000,000 VND;
– Fixed allowance: 2,000,000 VND;
– Two-month probation period at 85% of the salary;
– 13th-month salary bonus;
