Mechanical Design Engineer (Robotics Industry)
NIC Global is partnering with a leading European automation group to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Robotics Technical & Service Center in Yen Phong, Bac Ninh. Their international work culture emphasizes career development and provides shuttle transport for employees.
Collaborate in English with the China-based design team to receive, review and refine robot component CAD models and technical drawings.
Adapt and localize design packages for Vietnam-based vendors, ensuring clear hand-off of SolidWorks files, BOMs and assembly instructions.
Validate vendor prototypes and production samples: check fit, form and function; identify and resolve mechanical or integration issues.
Manage design change requests, version control and alignment with global engineering standards.
Support project proposals by estimating technical scope, cost implications and feasibility.
Act as liaison between sales, engineering and production to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.
Drive continuous improvement: document lessons learned, propose process optimizations and update standard work procedures.
Kỹ năng yêu cầu
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in mechanical design for electronics, automation or robotics applications.
Expert proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred; Inventor, CATIA or NX also acceptable).
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, sheet-metal forming, surface treatments).
Fluent English for daily collaboration with overseas teams; Mandarin is a strong plus.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
