Communication Specialist ( Only Female )
• The position involves duties relating to ongoing written and other communications with the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation’s (GATF) partner foreign and domestic business associations in Vietnam, individual companies engaged in importing and exporting in Vietnam, relevant Vietnam government offices for the GATF customs bond project in Vietnam and, working with Vietnamese media and GATF partner associations as a contact person for media interviews, press releases and, articles concerning the GATF project in Vietnam.
• In addition, the position will involve gathering information for and preparation of a broad variety of reports requested by GATF partner organizations involving government affairs, project progress, budget and expense tracking and others required concerning GATF events and activities in Vietnam. Additional duties will involve the company ‘s consulting services for its clients.
Qualifications:
High proficiency in written and spoken communications skills, including providing presentations. Language proficiency: Native Vietnamese and excellent English – TOEIC 600 or better. Ability to simultaneously interpret in meetings and conference events.
Experience with journalistic writing and working with Vietnamese media organizations.
Experience with questionnaires and ability to assist GATF partner associations with conducting surveys involving GATF meetings and events. Ability to analyze questionnaire survey results and to prepare summary reports.
Experience with foreign business associations active in Vietnam.
At least one to two years of experience with translation of legal and regulatory Vietnamese documents such as decrees and circulars to English.
Familiarity or knowledge of specialized terminology involving international trade procedures involving imports and exports.
Knowledge of non-life insurance industry terminology involving guarantees or performance bonds a plus.
Task and time management skills, analytical skills, document management skills, problem-solving skills.
Computer literacy and excellent capabilities involving Microsoft Office products, Mail, Skype and use of Internet involving Google, Twitter and Instagram, with a high correspondence speed.
University graduate with degree in Journalism, Communications or Law and Economics.
