Job Description

1.Job Description:
* Procurement
– Well understand the received PR requirements
– Get the quotations
– Clarify the specification with concerned dept. (if any)
– Negotiate and select vendor
– Issue the P.O. and expedite the shipment timely
– Check the shipping documents for the accuracy
* Sourcing
– Study/Identify new potential sources
– Develop the identified sources to be approved vendors.
* Cost Reduction
– Control and improve lead-time as much as possible.
– Identify/study the cost saving areas.
– Study and select the best purchasing term (freight term/payment term).
– Consider hedge contract for the big quantity
* Supplier Control/Management
– Keep the fruitful and clean relationship with the vendor in order to get their best cooperation in supplying the materials as well as solving the claim if happens.
– Periodically evaluate vendor’s performance and conduct visit to vendors
– Extend support/strengthen the weak vendors to be good vendors
* End user satisfaction level & Problem solving:
– To extend the best cooperation and coordination to others.
– Have a high sense of urgency
– Contribute the constructive ideas/thoughts/solution for the most efficient working environment condition.
– Act on claims in the fair and mutual benefit manner
– Propose the idea for problem solving to the superior
* Others:
– Keep good/clear communication
– Have sense of cost cut down and sourcing
– Perform other duties as assigned by Superior

2.Job Requirement:
– Local Vietnamese, University graduation in the field of Foreign Trade/Economics/Engineering
– Female/Male, age range: 28 to 35
– At least 5 years’ experience in similar position, preferable in steel manufacturing, foreign trade or construction industries.
– Excellent English communication, good management skill.
– Assertive, self-starter, well-organized, systematic and detailed-focus.
