Senior Ruby on Rail Developer
NIC’s Client
+ Join in a product/system design phase with Japan team to analyze system requirements
+ Suggest, propose creative solutions to solve problems
+ Design, develop and test high-traffic Web application in Ruby on Rails (sometime do DevOps to deploy to production)
+ Write technical documentation
Required skills
1. EDUCATION
+ Graduated from College/University in Information Technology/Computer
+ At least 2 year experience as a Web developer (1 year as a Ruby on Rails developer)
2. TECHNICAL EXPERIENCESMUST HAVE
+ Programing experience with Ruby
+ Experience with Ruby on Rails frameworks (provide intensive Ruby on Rails training course for skill-up)
+ Experience with Database system (MySQL/MongoDB)
+ Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS)
NICE TO HAVE
+ Experience with Redis, Index Engines (Apache Solr, Elastic Search)
+ Server Deployment (Capistrano, Mina, Chef)
3. LANGUAGE SKILLS
+ Can basically communicate (writing, speaking) in English
+ Japanese speaking is a huge plus
