Job Description

Position Purpose (Mission):
The FDC Head is:-
Responsible for raising resources from Individuals and Corporations, for Programme, as per the agreed targets.
Responsible to support the National Director and Director FDC – IO Asia, in developing fund development strategy, its implementation and reporting.

Key Performance Areas and Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for raising funds as per the agreed targets, both from individuals and corporations.
Contributes to the development, implementation and reporting of fund development strategy and annual plans for the country.
Acquire new donors and retain existing donors as per agreed targets.
Responsible for cooperating with External Communications personnel to develop external communication material and public relations for the MA.
Support the National Director in raising subsidies from the government.
Writing proposals, coordinating donor visits, organising fund development events and contributing to development of donor communication material.
Selection and manage external agencies that provide services like designing, letter shopping, mail handling, telemarketing, database vending, New Media marketing, face to face fundraising, marketing research etc.
Any other assignment as entrusted by the supervisor.

Required skills

Good knowledge of fund development / marketing strategies High interpersonal skills Ability to the lead the team Good computer skills Innovative and ability to suggest and adapt new approaches Willing to travel as and when requiredQualification & Experience:Minimum desired qualification is Bachelors in Business Administration or a graduate with Diploma in business administration/marketing/communications. Master’s in Business Administration will be an added advantage Should have minimum experience of 10-12 years or more in fund development, business development for corporates or non-profit organisations. People with business development experience in the corporate sector along with experience of guiding and leading the team may also apply. Should have flair for writing donor communication material and funding proposals in a comprehensive language. Exposure to the use of Direct Mail, Tele-marketing, Internet marketing etc. will be an advantage.
