Training Session To Improve ISO 9001 Quality Management System

On June 17, 2024, NIC Global participated in the first ISO 9001 Quality Management System improvement training session in phase 1 with a large participation of employees nationwide.

The training session is part of NIC Global’s ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency, optimize processes, and increase competitive advantage. Especially, consulting expert Vo Tien Manh from AMQC Consulting Unit shared in-depth knowledge about the ISO 9001 Quality Management System process, helping employees understand the core nature of the system and its key role in improving quality management systems, product quality, and services.

What is ISO 9001 standard?

ISO 9001 is the most popular international standard among ISO management system standards. More specifically, this is a standard applied by businesses/organizations for their quality management system (QMS).

The content of ISO 9001 includes basic principles and requirements that focus on improving the operational efficiency of processes in the QMS to achieve the desired goals. Hence, that is to meet and satisfy the requirements and expectations of customers and other stakeholders. Also, this is the key for businesses to survive and succeed in today’s increasingly fiercely competitive market economy.

ISO 9001:2015

It is the newest version today and is considered to have a great improvement compared to the first version. So, the core of this version is focused on risk-based system control and management. We aim for sustainable development for businesses that apply it.

The Importance of ISO 9001 Quality Management System for Sustainable Development

Besides, speaking at the training session, the representative of the Board of Directors affirmed the importance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for the company’s sustainable development. Furthermore, the Board of Directors also commits to accompanying employees in effectively implementing and applying the system, while creating favorable conditions to improve the capacity and professional qualifications of the staff.

Moreover, the training session discussed common limitations and difficulties when applying the ISO 9001 QMS process, thereby proposing effective improvement solutions. Finally, solutions focus on optimizing processes, simplifying procedures, improving operational efficiency, and saving time and resources.

In addition, through this training session, employees have increased their awareness of the importance of the ISO 9001 QMS.
